Lou DelBianco, Luigi’s grandson and author of this site in his honor, reached out to Mount Rushmore in 2011 and much there has been great positive progress in his effort to make Luigi DelBianco hold his rightful place there.

The staff was so impressed with this web site and Lou’s July 3, 2011 visit and performance, that plans are underway for a permanent exhibit that will share Luigi DelBianco’s previously untold story. Soon people will be able to interact with “Bianco” and see for themselves how his place is carved into the Mount Rushmore culture, story and rich history.

We will keep you posted, so come back and check on the progress!
